On Thursday, October 15th, the Broncos take on the Jacksboro Jr. High Tigers at Buckaroo Stadium, and the JV team travels to Tiger Stadium. On Friday, the Varsity Tigers come to Breckenridge for a 7:00 PM KO against the Bucks. Let's Green & White Buckaroo Stadium!

This will include ticketing links, Google Map directions, ads for various upcoming events, and anything else we can locate that will potentially be of service to our Buckaroo and Bronco Community. We also maintain an across-all-campuses calendar simply called Combined Campus Calendars. This has a large amout of information loaded by each campus and placed together in one central location, which can be really helpful when planning busy schedules across more than one campus. About BISD October Cafeteria Menus & Services

Callie Morton has designed and completed the October 2026 cafetera menus, and we think they might just be her most attractive ones to date! They are up and running.

The BISD Food Services website has both printer friendly menus and large JPEG versions that require no printing. Here’s an important UPDATE ABOUT PRICING FOR 2026-2027.

BISD Online Video Announcements

Lindsey Boggs and Jayden Huffman are our tour guides this week, taking us deeper into October and, we hope, into cooler temperatures with rain! On Monday, there’s a High School Boys & Girls District Cross Country Meet in the morning and a Regular BISD Monthly School Board Meeting at 6:30 PM at the Central Office. On Tuesday, there’s Breckenridge HS Lady Buckaroo District Volleyball Games Vs. The Dublin High School Lady Lions at Home, starting at 4:30 PM, and later that evening at 6:00 PM the BHS and BJHS Band Boosters conduct their monthly meeting. On Wednesday, students at BHS who have signed-up will take the ACT and there’s a BHS FCCLA STAR Events Entry Meeting at 12:30 PM in Mrs. Mitchell's classroom during lunch. On Thursday, the Broncos are at home and the JV Bucks are on the road: all three teams compete against the Jacksboro Tigers, and on Friday the Varsity Buckaroos do the same thing at 7:00 PM at home with a 12:10 Pep Rally in LT Cook earlier that day. Go, Bucks & Broncos!

BISD Utilizes ParentSquare for Direct Family Communication

Our district uses ParentSquare for school communication, primarily with email, text, and app notifications. ParentSquare automatically syncs with PowerSchool to generate an account for each parent, using their preferred email address and phone number. We encourage parents to access their accounts so they can download the mobile app and update their preferences on when and how they are notified. ParentSquare is a safe, secure, and modern approach to communication and collaboration between school and home.

  • On the app, enter your email or cell phone number. The email and/or cell phone number should match what is in the school's information system (PowerSchool) or database.

    On the web, click ‘Sign In’, then under ‘Register’ section, put your email or phone number and click '“Go”.

    If the email or phone number is not recognized by ParentSquare, parents can follow directions to request access or call the school office and ask them to update the contact information.

  • ParentSquare allows users to customize their notifications based on notification type and select their preferred delivery method for each school. The Instant setting will send all post notifications in real-time. The Digest setting sends direct messages, alerts, and time-sensitive posts instantly, but sends all non-time sensitive posts at the end of the day, reducing the number of notifications you receive daily. (We recommend the Digest setting.) Learn more about notification settings.

  • Yes. All parents have a ParentSquare account. ParentSquare is the primary tool for district and school communication. Individuals who do not activate their account in ParentSquare will still receive an email digest at the end of each day that communication is sent out to them. In the event of emergencies, phone calls will be sent as well.

  • Parents can update their language preference for their account. Once they have done this, ParentSquare will automatically translate any communication to them in their selected language. This translation will also occur when the parent sends a message to a staff member. Learn more about ParentSquare translations and how to set the language preference.

  • Spacer Between Elements
